Abstract

Daily life and its tasks, its vicissitudes, its gaits, its sensations, its emotions and its thoughts. These are Pablo Fernández Christlieb's objects of reflection in this third book of psychosocial essays on everyday culture. In this book, people, their ways of walking, objects, transport, places and characters constitute that container where they anchor everyday culture; and it is the psychosocial gaze that interprets. Indeed, social psychology is the perspective from which this culture is analyzed on a daily basis, since it is in everyday life that the social reality in which we are immersed is given shape and meaning. Outside of individualism and essentialisms, the author narrates the groups, the neighborhood, the city; He introduces us to the styles of the people, the same thanks —like being shy—, that misfortunes —like being taken advantage of.
