Abstract

It is undoubted that all theoretical and methodological processes respond to scenarios, crises, junctures and structures, that is today a problem of academic knowledge: that it is separated from everything that gives it meaning. Today we celebrate the conceptual materialization that this book brings. In a general way, I would like to rescue certain main points and ideas from the text, and answer the following question to the entire audience: Why is it important to read the book: On collective memory. Social frames, artifacts and history of Jorge Mendoza? To answer this question, I am going to divide my presentation into four points to cover as much as possible the excellent work that we are exhibiting today.
