The Piracy

Abstract

Telling them pirates is very accurate: the pirates were gentlemen who took things from those who had legally stolen them, an act that they called, curiously, "privatizing." In other words, pirates are enemies, but of the conquerors. Today they rob monopolizing businessmen, those who put a trademark on everything. Now it could be called "popularize". Pirates are not little angels: they are the ones who copy Thalía's records, movies like Harry Potter and Microsoft programs and then go and sell them cheaply at the exit of the Metro, they just copy what's in fashion. In fact, they have exactly the same mindset as entrepreneurs. The general rule is that there is only piracy of cheap things, that is, those whose publicity exceeds its quality and that are produced by large companies.
